LESSON#657
HE GOT LUCKY, OR DID HE?
We have all been there, playing the guy that just stands there waiting to say how lucky we got while ignoring all the luck that went his way. Many simply do not have the knowledge (I did not either until Roady Bill set me right) to understand that players know they are going into traffic and are willing to accept the result. Getting angry about it is no different than getting angry at a coin flip! Below is a shot I use over and over and many fail to see it as a great shot. “crash into balls and get perfect!!!”
They are angry because they do not have the knowledge to know.
The red dots are middle table diamonds. Counting the diamonds tells us how much right spin we need after cueball goes tangent line to short rail. We are picking up a tip of right from contact on the one, so we add two more tips and that takes us wide to the rail and gives us a great chance to get on the two. One mid table diamond = 1 tip of english based on half table grid. Good luck and hope you master it!
