“I would have beat you if I didn't make stupid mistakes!”
Unfortunately not making stupid mistakes is a big part of winning. In order to avoid traps and “oh no” moments you must practice seeing them so you can avoid them.
With 400-600 hours of practicing this 😆 you will be ready to play with very few silly mistakes. Of course you will not do 400+ hours for quite some time but you will gradually improve.
THE FIX: Any time you are playing and do something silly, snap a pic and get about ten of those. Practice not making those silly mistakes. But until then, rather than telling your opponent they only won because you made silly mistakes, tell them “600 hours of practice and I think I can beat you!!”
