Many years ago, Dave Pearson broke 500 times with an 11oz cue, 500 times with an 18oz cue, and 500 times with a 27 oz cue, to see what performed the best. Dave spent nearly a month trying to figure out what gives you the best explosion. Dave found that the lighter cue performed better because it was easier to follow through with your stroke and keep it accurate.
